The Foreign Ministry called unacceptable the request not to recognize vaccines from Russia in the EU

The calls of the French Foreign Ministry to the EU countries not to recognize the CORONAVIRUS vaccines created in RUSSIA and CHINA are unacceptable. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in TELEGRAM.

“This is a hybrid of racism, imperial hegemonism and neo-Nazism: entire peoples are denied equal rights and opportunities, doing this contrary to laws, ethics and morality, pushing the world into confrontation at a time when it is going through the hardest tests of the pandemic,” she said.

According to Zakharova, those who oppose Russian and Chinese vaccines "are not related to the France that gave humanity the ideals of freedom, equality and fraternity."

Secretary of State at the French Foreign Ministry Clement Bon said earlier that the number of recognized vaccines should be limited to those approved by the European Medicines Agency. Only four vaccines have been approved in the EU so far, from Pfizer, Moderna, ASTRAZENECA and Johnson & Johnson.
