Merkel in her last video message to the citizens of Germany urged to be vaccinated

In her last video message as German Chancellor, Angela Merkel urged citizens to actively get vaccinated against the CORONAVIRUS. The entry was published on the website of the German Cabinet.

"Get vaccinated! it doesn’t matter if it’s the first vaccine or a booster,” Merkel said, noting that any vaccine helps. At the very least, it prevents death. Merkel said it is especially important to get vaccinated now that a new omicron strain has been identified that is "in all likelihood" more dangerous.

During her tenure as chancellor, Merkel recorded 600 video messages.
