The HEAD of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov supported the mandatory vaccination against CORONAVIRUS in industry. He said this in an interview with TASS.

“Because the efficiency of the work of those industries for which we, as a ministry, are responsible, depends on it,” he said.

According to the minister, a third of workers already have protection against covid-19 . The agency monitors the situation with the help of the state information system "Industry". So, according to preliminary data, 8% of employees have already been ill with COVID-19, almost 25% have been vaccinated, and another 16% are ready to be vaccinated. At the same time, only 2.5% have contraindications for vaccination.

“I think, taking into account the general situation, the dynamics will increase and may exceed 50% in the near future. This will guarantee that enterprises will not stop due to employees going on sick leave, ”Manturov believes.

Due to the sharp deterioration of the epidemic situation, Moscow was the first to introduce mandatory vaccination. Employers must ensure that at least 60% of employees are vaccinated, they must receive the first dose of the vaccine by July 15, and the second by August 15. The areas and organizations whose employees are subject to vaccination include, in particular, trade, catering, civil service, public services, fitness clubs, transport, education, healthcare, housing and communal services.

Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Murmansk, Orenburg, Volgograd, Omsk regions, Crimea, Bashkiria, Kamchatka, etc. have already followed the example of the capital.
