Adrian Farnham, interim CEO of the London Metal Exchange (LME), said the exchange   has no plans to impose a ban on trading metals from RUSSIA in the absence of appropriate sanctions from governments. it is reported by Interfax.

“In our opinion, the imposition of sanctions is the business of governments. We don't think it's our job," said Adrian Farnham.

Earlier, the LME Copper Council, which has a consultative status, recommended to ban new deliveries of Russian copper for trading on the exchange. At that moment, representatives of the exchange said that they were not planning measures that go beyond anti-Russian sanctions.
