Major home appliance maker LG Electronics is suspending all deliveries to RUSSIA, the company said on its website.
“LG Electronics is suspending all deliveries to Russia and will continue to monitor the situation. We are deeply concerned about the HEALTH and safety of all people, and LG is committed to supporting humanitarian relief efforts,” the statement said.
In early March, Samsung also suspended the EXPORT of goods to Russia. According to the representative of the company, the reason was the difficulties with logistics. BLOOMBERG, citing a Samsung statement, reported that the electronics maker will suspend supplies from smartphone chips to consumer electronics due to geopolitical events.
Samsung Suspended Exports to Russia Due to Logistics Difficulties
The Korea Economic Daily wrote that LG and Samsung are concerned about the decision of shipping companies to suspend most of the deliveries to Russia due to sanctions. The companies noted that they had enough raw materials and components for the production of products in Russia. LG owns a TV and consumer electronics factory in Ruza near Moscow, Samsung owns a TV factory in Kaluga.
