Kuban rose to 22nd place in Russia in terms of the number of cases of COVID-19

In the Krasnodar Territory, since the beginning of the pandemic, CORONAVIRUS infection has been confirmed in 46,176 people. In terms of the number of cases, the region has risen from 24th to 22nd place among the subjects of RUSSIA, follows from the data of the Stopcoronavirus.rf website.

As of May 7, 95 people were infected in the region, 88 patients recovered, the total number of recoveries was 40,634 people. Lethal cases rose to 2751.

According to the Kuban headquarters, 20 new cases were detected in Krasnodar, 17 in Sochi, 6 each in Krasnoarmeisky and Slavyansky regions.

3 new patients each in Belorechensk, Labinsk and Novokubansk districts. Two cases each were confirmed in the Korenovsky, Tuapse, Primorsko-Akhtarsky, Novopokrovsky, Pavlovsky and Beloglinsky districts. One more resident fell ill in Abinsk, Kushchevsky, Krylovsky, Otradnensky, Ust-Labinsk districts, as well as Anapa and Armavir.

229,682 people applied to medical institutions in the region with suspected coronavirus. Laboratories conducted 2,970,661 tests, 5,071 of them in the last 24 hours. The incidence rate per 100 thousand population is 812.4.
