RUSSIA and the EU have had very positive talks regarding the mutual recognition of CORONAVIRUS vaccination certificates. This was stated to journalists by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, reports TASS.
“There were very positive contacts, now, let’s say, the analysis of“ homework ”is underway,” he said.
According to Peskov, the possible recognition of documents on the completed course of vaccination against infection is a "technological process" that consists of different tasks. “There is every reason to believe that it will be possible to reach positive dynamics,” he admitted, noting that the mutual recognition of certificates will probably occur within “a certain number of months.”

Russian covid-19 vaccines have not yet received approval from either the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the World HEALTH Organization (WHO). The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) applied for registration with the European regulator in January this year. The fund noted that the decision will be made based on the results of a series of expert reviews.
