152 citizens of Nizhny Novgorod became infected with coronavirus over the past day

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 152 new cases of CORONAVIRUS infection have been confirmed over the past day. This is reported by the operational headquarters of the Russian Federation.

The total number of residents of the region who were diagnosed with covid-19 during the pandemic exceeded 233.88 thousand people.

According to the latest data, more than 220.27 thousand people have recovered. During the entire period of the pandemic, 10,099 Nizhny Novgorod residents became victims of the coronavirus, 21 people died in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of HEALTH of the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported that as of January 12, 1 million 728 thousand 839 residents of the region had been vaccinated against coronavirus. 

The HEAD of the regional Ministry of Health announced preparations for the mobilization of medical personnel and equipment against the backdrop of the spread of the omicron strain.
