From January 17, people entering China will be required to enter PCR test results into the Chinese customs application and fill out an electronic HEALTH questionnaire. This is reported by the Chinese Embassy in RUSSIA. The text posted on WeChat talks about air travel. Whether the system will work when crossing the border through ground checkpoints is still unknown.
“Upon arrival at the checkpoint, passengers must submit a ‘health declaration’ from customs and fill out a health declaration on the spot. Only passengers with negative PCR tests are allowed into China. In case of detection of anomalies, including a high temperature in passengers, the passenger is retested at the entrance by customs,” the message says.
To enter the country, you must fill out a health declaration online or using an application on your smartphone, indicating the result of PCR testing in the electronic questionnaire. In the absence of a negative test, the airline may refuse to check-in for the flight. In addition, you need to have the test result in paper form.
The Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation also explains how a document with the result of a PCR test should look like. it must contain the same name and surname of the passenger as in the passport, the time of the test, the method of testing, the result and the name of the institution that performed the test. The language of the document depends on the airline the passenger is flying with.
Since January 8, anti-COVID restrictions have ceased to operate in China, and only a negative test for covid-19 , made 48 hours before departure, was required to enter the country.
