Qatar to allow vaccinated Sputnik V to enter

Qatar has listed Sputnik V and China's Sinovac as "conditionally approved" vaccines. Those vaccinated with these drugs will be allowed to enter the country, but citizens will have to confirm the presence of Doha antibodies,

From October 6, the Ministry of HEALTH of Qatar will allow people vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine and Chinese Sinovac to enter the country, Qatar News Agency reported.

Both drugs were included in the list of "conditionally approved vaccines", follows from the data of the department. This means that those vaccinated with Sputnik V or Sinovac will need to take an antibody test before traveling to Qatar. Also on this list is another Chinese vaccine - Sinopharm.

Among the vaccines approved in Qatar are Pfizer (also called), Moderna (produced as SpikeVax), ASTRAZENECA (Covishield/Oxford/Vaxzevria) and Johnson & Johnson (Jansen).

Citizens who were not vaccinated in Qatar must provide the original vaccination certificate in English or Arabic. The document must indicate the name, dates of receipt of the components and the name of the vaccine.
