The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, in a video message accused the Security Service and the armed forces of Ukraine of kidnapping citizens of the country of Chechen origin "because they are Chechens." He urged to stop "kidnapping and taking away innocent Chechens in an unknown direction."

According to Kadyrov, natives of the republic are kidnapped on the territory of Ukraine “on suspicion”, and then their relatives cannot find them.

“If there is a law, we will demand from you according to the law, to the fullest extent. And if there is no law, then we have our own laws, traditions, customs - blood feud. We will not leave you,” Kadyrov warned.
