Kuban exports grew by 34% in 2021 and amounted to $7.5 billion . This was reported to RBC Krasnodar in the regional department of investment and development of SMEs.
The ministry noted that earlier it recorded a decrease in exports from $7.4 billion in 2019 to $5.6 billion in 2020.
“In 2021, we are seeing a positive trend in terms of exports. There were already 1,648 companies supplying products abroad, which is already 2.3% more, of which 91% are SMEs, and their EXPORT volume increased by 4.5%, which amounted to 24% of total exports (a significant contribution is carried out by large companies that have increased their exports by almost 1.5 times),” commented RBC Krasnodar in the regional department of investment and development of small and medium-sized businesses.
The volume of non-commodity non-energy exports increased by 12%, amounting to $4.9 billion. The volume of imports to the market of the Krasnodar Territory amounted to $5.6 billion, which is 26% more than a year earlier.
As RBC Krasnodar reported, small and medium-sized enterprises of the Krasnodar Territory in January-May 2021 exported products worth $2.6 billion, which is 16.4% more than in the same period in 2020.
