Moscow managed to complete the task of vaccinating 60% of employees in the service sector against CORONAVIRUS, more than 2 million people were vaccinated in the city in a month, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated the day before, summing up the interim results of this campaign. During the month the relevant decree was in force against the backdrop of increased demand for vaccination, according to the Moscow Department of HEALTH, Moscow increased its vaccination capacity four times.

On June 16, by a decree of the Chief State Sanitary DOCTOR of Moscow, the groups of workers subject to mandatory vaccination against coronavirus infection were determined. We are talking about public catering, retail outlets, beauty salons, fitness clubs, spa and massage salons, banks, transport, housing and communal services and energy, theaters, museums, libraries, multifunctional centers and government services, as well as organizations subordinate to government bodies. According to the decree, 60% of employees in these areas were subject to mandatory vaccination. Over the past month, more than 2 million people have been vaccinated in the city with the first component, while six months before that - only 1.7 million, Sobyanin said the day before.
