Poland has begun the first stage of the annexation of the western territory of Ukraine, Ilya Kiva, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, said on his TELEGRAM channel.

He pointed out that the supply of foreign-made weapons is carried out according to an updated strategy: for example, they do not reach the immediate combat zone, but remain in the western part of the country.

“This is the first stage before secession and the creation of a “pro-Western Ukraine” with its capital in Lviv. With subsequent accession, through a referendum, to Poland,” he said.

The fact that Washington and Warsaw are developing a plan to establish Poland's control over its "historical possessions" in Ukraine was announced on April 28 by the HEAD of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin. According to him, Poland wants to send troops to the western regions of Ukraine under the slogan of their "protection against Russian aggression."

However, it is planned to deploy "Polish peacekeepers" where the threat of a direct collision with the Russian military is minimal, in order to later be able to take control of strategic facilities, the head of the SVR said. According to him, Poland is counting on the fact that the consolidation of its troops in the west of Ukraine will split the country and Warsaw will receive territories that will include its "peacekeepers".

Later that day, on April 28, Poland announced exercises and the movement of equipment near the borders with Ukraine and Germany. The military stressed that the exercises will be held in accordance with the program of maneuvers planned for this year. At the same time, Stanislav Zharin, the press secretary of the minister - coordinator of the Polish special services, pointed out that the statement about the Polish "annexation of western Ukraine" is a lie, the purpose of which is to sow distrust between Kyiv and Warsaw.
