The cargo turnover of the port of Tuapse in January-February 2022 decreased by 15.1% compared to the same period last year and amounted to about 3.6 million tons. This is reported by the Association of Commercial Sea Ports.

According to the association, in the same period, the cargo turnover of Novorossiysk increased by 8.6%, amounting to 24.7 million tons, the cargo turnover of Taman showed an increase of 1.6 times or 6.7 million tons of cargo.

In total, the cargo turnover of the seaports of the Azov-Black Sea basin amounted to 42.3 million tons, which is 8.4% more compared to January-February 2021. Of these, the volume of transshipment of dry cargo amounted to 17.5 million tons (+2.2%), liquid cargo - 24.8 million tons (+13.4%).

The cargo turnover of all Russian seaports increased by 6.8% and amounted to 136.7 million tons.

Recall that in February 2022, the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port came under EU sanctions in connection with the start of a Russian special operation in Ukraine. it was forbidden to directly or indirectly make transactions with the enterprise, provide investments, or carry out transactions with securities.
