Golikova allowed doctors to leave work due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Doctors who work in the "red zones" during the CORONAVIRUS pandemic will change professions due to professional burnout. This assumption was voiced by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova at a meeting of the Council for Guardianship in the Social Sphere under the Government of the Russian Federation, RIA Novosti reports.

“I do not rule out that colleagues will simply leave the profession, because professional burnout is taking place,” the Deputy Prime Minister said, noting that now a “negative balance” of personnel is being recorded in the healthcare system.

Golikova added that a large number of medical workers had to receive additional education to work in the "red zones", at the same time, they are "multiple exposed to the consequences" of covid-19 . it is necessary to train medical specialists, the vice-premier pointed out, since it will be necessary to solve the problem of a shortage of doctors in even more difficult conditions.

“People can no longer work in such conditions, and, unfortunately, there is an outflow of personnel due to objective circumstances,” she assessed.

In early October, Kommersant, citing a draft government decree, spoke about the plans of the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of HEALTH to reform the system of remuneration of medical workers. The project developers propose to create a unified remuneration system for doctors from all over the country - the salary of medical workers will be formed from salaries, incentives and compensation payments. According to the plan of the ministries, a high level of salary should be based not on the degree of workload of the DOCTOR, but on the level of his experience and qualifications.
