The professional relationship of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) with Roscosmos on the International Space Station (ISS) has not changed, said the HEAD of the department, Bill Nelson, during a briefing.

“The professional relationship between astronauts and cosmonauts aboard the [International Space] Station, as well as the professional relationship between mission control centers in Houston and Moscow, has remained unchanged. And that's what we expect," he said. (quote from TASS)

Nelson added that one American astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts should return to Earth "at the end of this month" as scheduled. All employees from both sides who take part in the preparation and conduct of the landing remain in their places, the head of NASA said.

Earlier, on February 25, NASA spokesman Dan Huot, in response to a question about the possible consequences of new US sanctions for cooperation between the two countries in the space sector, said that the department continues to work with Roscosmos, as well as with other partners, to maintain the operation of the station and safety on it.
