UN Secretary-General António Guterres announced signs of progress in resolving the situation around Ukraine, he believes that the parties should immediately intensify the negotiation process. This was stated by the Secretary General, speaking at the UN.
“According to my information received from various parties, elements of diplomatic progress are visible on several key issues. There are enough topics to immediately stop hostilities and conduct serious negotiations,” Guterres said.
He noted that conflicts end in negotiations, and in the situation with Ukraine, the parties will still be at the negotiating table, so the search for compromise solutions should not be delayed.
