France allocated 70,000 Ukrainian refugees at €426 per month

The French authorities allocated 70,000 Ukrainians a state allowance in the amount of €426 per month ($449). This is reported by the newspaper Le Figaro, citing the French Office for Immigration and Integration.

At the same time, the newspaper writes that most often this amount is not enough for refugees to provide for themselves, and it takes several weeks to get it.

According to the United Nations (UN), as of April 29, more than 5.4 million people have left the country since the beginning of Russia's military special operation in Ukraine (February 24).
