Fox News reported the injury of its journalist near Kiev

Fox News journalist Benjamin Hall was shot near Kyiv while covering events in Ukraine, the channel reported.

According to Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott, employees have little information about what happened. "Ben is hospitalized and our team on site is working to collect more data," she said.

“The safety of our team of journalists in Ukraine and neighboring regions is our top priority and is of the utmost importance,” Scott added.

On January 13, American journalist Brent Renault was killed in the city of Irpen in the Kyiv region, and his colleague was injured. In Ukraine, Renault worked on a Time magazine project on the global refugee crisis. A New York Times press card was found among the documents of the deceased. The editorial staff of the publication said that they were “deeply saddened” by the news of the death of Renault and added that he collaborated with the NYT until 2015 and received no assignment from the editorial office in Ukraine.
