London will continue to supply Kyiv with weapons, including armored vehicles, deliveries will take place in the coming days. This was announced by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson during telephone conversations with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the press service of the British Prime Minister reports.
“The Prime Minister said that the UK will continue to provide Ukraine with means for self-defense, including armored vehicles in the coming days,” the press service said.
Biden held talks with Johnson on assistance to Ukraine Politics
The parties also discussed the need for a long-term security solution for Ukraine and British sanctions against RUSSIA, which came into force last week.
The press service of the Ukrainian president specified that Zelensky discussed with Johnson the situation in Mariupol and security guarantees for Ukraine, as well as military and financial assistance.
Johnson visited Kyiv on April 9. He met with the President of Ukraine and promised to provide the country with military assistance in the form of 120 armored vehicles and anti-ship systems, as well as additional loan guarantees for $500 million through the World Bank. Zelensky said that the British Prime Minister expressed his readiness to help restore Kyiv and the Kyiv region after the end of the Russian military operation.
