Fighting covid-19
Governor of Prikamye Dmitry Makhonin noted that 2020 was marked by the fight against CORONAVIRUS. And part of the report was devoted to resistance to the virus in the region.
“12.5 billion rubles were attracted to fight COVID-19 in 2020. 1818 doctors, 4782 middle and junior staff and 2000 volunteers are involved. The Perm Territory ranked 73rd in terms of incidence. 90% of the population has recovered,” Makhonin said.
Due to the restrictive measures introduced against the spread of the virus, small businesses that needed support were affected. The Governor of the Perm Territory in his report emphasized the need to support employment and entrepreneurs, talking about support measures in the region in 2020.
“2.9 billion rubles were allocated for additional business support measures, taking into account the amount of tax breaks. At the end of 2020, the Perm Territory ranked 6th in terms of the number of types of economic support. 4.1 billion rubles paid to the unemployed, 400 million were allocated to employment support measures. Of course, we traditionally hold first place in terms of the number of SMEs. More than 2 billion rubles were allocated to support business. We will further develop SMEs and are now developing a program for the development of SMEs for the next 10 years,” the governor said.
road fund
Speaking about the road fund, Dmitry Makhonin reported on road facilities built in the region in 2020.
“In 2020, the road fund amounted to 19 billion rubles. 10,355 km built and over 1,000 km repaired. The BKD project (Safe and quality roads - approx.) includes 55 objects. 5.7 km built and over 108 km repaired. The share of motor roads of regional importance that meet the regulatory requirements is 55.45%. This is 1.2% more than in the Russian Federation,” the governor said.
About the population
In his report to the Legislative Assembly of the region, the governor noted the problem of the Perm Territory - population decline. According to him, in terms of average life expectancy, the Kama region “rolled back 1.5 years”.
“I constantly tell the government that the key task is to increase the population of the region. Now, in terms of average life, we rolled back 1.5 years ago. The number of women of childbearing age has decreased by 30%,” Makhonin said in his report.
Gasification
Preferential gasification is in great demand among the inhabitants of the Kama region and, possibly, will be scaled to the whole of RUSSIA. Territory Governor Dmitry Makhonin noted the high demand and backed up the information with figures.
“We have been collecting applications for gasification for several months. Now about 25-26 thousand such applications have been collected,” the governor said.
