The number of cases of COVID-19 in the Krasnodar Territory increased by 3 times per day

In the Krasnodar Territory, as of August 17, 1181 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection were detected. A day earlier, 368 covid-19 cases were confirmed in the region . The data is provided by the regional operational headquarters.

Most cases of infection were recorded in Krasnodar - 502. In Sochi, 149 infected were detected per day, in Anapa and Novorossiysk - 45 each, in Gelendzhik - 40, in Tikhoretsky district - 33, in Krymsky - 31.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 274,704 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed. The incidence rate per 100 thousand of the population is 4833. 257821 people were discharged with recovery. 10986 patients could not be saved.

There are 6,633 people on outpatient treatment with suspected coronavirus, of which 5,426 residents have a confirmed diagnosis. 472 people are being treated in hospitals, including 471 patients with COVID-19. 5 people are in serious condition on mechanical ventilation, the regional Ministry of HEALTH reported.

Recall that the maximum daily increase in cases in 2022 occurred on February 19, when 4983 infected were registered in the region. After that, the number of cases will start to decrease. The minimum number of cases - 9 people in the region was recorded on June 21.

As RBC reported, for the first time since March, 33,106 people infected with COVID-19 were detected in RUSSIA. This is the maximum since March 18. Of these, only 3,167 people were hospitalized. Over the past day, 22.6 thousand people have been discharged from hospitals.
