Officials of Tatarstan returned to the mask regime

The government of the Republic of Tatarstan again began to observe the mask regime at meetings.The reason was the recommendation of the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov on the use of masks in labor collectives.

After the recommendation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the government of the republic again began to observe the mask regime. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of the Republic Lilia Galimova. 

“Yesterday we had a meeting of the Security Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. All participants of the meeting were wearing protective equipment. Everyone is strictly following the President's recommendations made at the Saturday meeting," she said at the briefing. 

According to her, at meetings held indoors, recirculators are used, and participants undergo thermometry. “We never removed it. In this case, we have added another means of protection - masks," Galimova said. 

She added that some organizations of the republic have also returned to wearing masks.

On the eve it became known that due to the worsening epidemiological situation, in order to prevent the spread of covid-19 , employees of the mayor's office and subordinate institutions of the Almetyevsk district must observe a mask regime during meetings and when receiving citizens.

Wearing masks has again become mandatory for employees of the administration of Naberezhnye Chelny. The corresponding decision was made by the city authorities.

Last week, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that given the increase in the incidence of COVID-19, it is recommended to reintroduce the mask regime in labor collectives, organizations and institutions of all forms of ownership.

Over the past week, the incidence of COVID-19 in the country has increased by 32%. According to the operational headquarters, as of August 12, the level of collective immunity in the Republic of Tatarstan decreased to 3.9%. A week earlier it was 4.8%.
