A skin rash may indicate infection with the omicron strain of CORONAVIRUS. This is reported by the British tabloid Daily Express, citing the results of a study by the team of the ZOE covid Symptom application (used to monitor the symptoms of covid-19 ).

Doctors and scientists who analyzed the application data concluded that the appearance of a rash can be considered the “fourth and key sign” of the new strain. “In different patients, redness on the skin is different from each other. Someone complained of severe itching, others, on the contrary, noted that swelling did not bother them at all, ”the article says.

In addition, it is clarified that a rash can occur at the initial stage of the disease and be fixed for a long time.
