The heads of the EU member states believe that the only way to resolve the conflict in Ukraine is by military means, and therefore they are going to continue supplying weapons and ammunition to Kyiv, said Josep Borrell, HEAD of the EU foreign policy service.

“Usually, wars are won or lost on the battlefield <...> We will discuss expanding assistance to Ukraine,” he stressed.

Borrell also said that new sanctions against RUSSIA would be discussed at the next meeting of EU foreign ministers .
