Representatives of the restaurant business of Tatarstan report a significant increase in the cost of locally produced lamb, as well as salmon. Interviewed by RBC Tatarstan, market players began to remove them from the menu,

golden lamb

Kazan restaurateur, founder of P. Love, Love chains. Ashe, Cream Coffee Nurislam Sharifullin told RBC Tatarstan about the increase in prices for lamb. According to him, the price has risen to 1,000 rubles per kilogram.

“After cutting the carcass, the MEAT costs over 1,000 rubles per kilogram. For me, the pricing of local lamb is completely incomprehensible. Suppliers tie everything to the DOLLAR, but what does the dollar have to do with it, I don’t understand, ”said the restaurateur.

Sharifullin said he did not plan to raise prices for ready-made lamb dishes. “We are introducing a new menu in one of the restaurants, which we have been preparing for a year already. In general, I think that now we will sell the rest of the mutton, and put it on the stop, ”he said.

Roman Butuzov, managing partner of the MAMA Feta restaurant, suggested that lamb prices in the republic could rise in price due to the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday. In 2022, the Muslim holidays of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Adha will take place on May 2 and July 9, respectively.
