People with the second and fourth blood types are more vulnerable to CORONAVIRUS. This opinion was expressed in an interview with Lenta.ru by Ancha Baranova , DOCTOR of Biological Sciences, Professor of the School of Systems Biology at George Mason University (Virginia, usa ).

According to her, the composition of blood groups differs at the molecular level.

“Both the first and third groups have antibodies to the A antigen, which bears little resemblance to the coronavirus antigen,” she said.

When the owner of such antigens encounters covid-19 , its antibodies can muffle the symptoms of the course of the disease. In addition, if the dose of the virus was small, the person may not get sick at all.
