The CORONAVIRUS pandemic has reduced the mobility of skilled workers from the Novosibirsk region. This was influenced by the development of remote employment and the fears of workers to become infected, DIRECTOR of HH.ru Siberia Ekaterina Degtyareva told RBC Novosibirsk.
“According to our survey, 25% of the inhabitants of the Novosibirsk region would like to move to another region of the country, another 44% periodically think about it, 26% definitely do not want to,” said Degtyareva.
At the same time, in the region, as the average for the country, there is a shortage of qualified specialists. There are an average of 3.3 resumes per vacancy in the region. At the same time, not each of these three applicants will fit all the requirements of the employer.
In particular, companies fill the shortage of personnel with the help of hunting - work with candidates who are already successfully employed and at the same time did not plan to move to another company. Enterprises also set salaries on average higher than the market, create comfortable working conditions and create their own HR brand.
