On the Internet, unknown persons put up for sale, as they claim, the database of patients of the Moscow drug treatment clinic Verimed, Kommersant writes with reference to a message from Infosecurity a Softline.
The announcement claims that the database contains 250,000 records, including passport details, mobile phone number, address, year of rehabilitation, photo archive and medical history. A message about the sale of data appeared in TELEGRAM, the sellers created a channel for this. For its advertising, a domain similar to the clinic's website was used, Infosecurity a Softline specified.
According to Igor Sergienko, Deputy General DIRECTOR of the company, the announcement looks authentic, but the fragment of the database could not be obtained. He noted that there were less than 250 thousand patients in the clinic, but specified that there could be several records for one person.
